Jaden Cat for Adoption

Jaden, neutered male born approx October 2007.

Handsome Jaden thought he hit the lottery several years ago when he was adopted from NYC Animal Care & Control.  Unfortunately, he wasn’t going to a loving home with some children to play and cuddle with – he was going to a bodega to be put to work, ensuring that no mice or rats entered the store.  He was well taken care of, but when the employee who “adopted” Jaden was fired, the bodega owner fired Jaden too and he ended up back at the shelter.  We heard of Jaden’s plight and scooped him right up, promising him he’d never have to “work” for his keep again.  Jaden is a calm boy, who just wants to be loved and cuddled.  He would be fine as a single kitty, as he definitely has a submissive personality around other cats.  Please give this young man all the love and comfort he deserves.

Friend, neutered male born approximately February 2011.

Friend is named Friend because everyone is his friend.  He was rescued from an AG employee’s backyard where he was found starving both for food and affection. Friend meows to be picked up and hugged and has even been known to leap from the floor to your arms to be loved. Friend likes other cats (he loves to play rough with other kitties though), doesn’t mind dogs, and seeks out children to be carried around like a ragdoll.  Why is he still here?

Friend has been adopted into a home with a mom and three young girls.  We wish them lots and lots of happiness with their first family kitty.
