Rose obtained her first job at the age of 15 at a local animal hospital in Staten Island, where she worked throughout high school as a veterinary assistant. This led her to attend the University of Delaware, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Shortly after graduation, she continued her journey as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic in Manhattan; it was here she realized she wasn’t dreaming of vet school, but loved the compassionate nursing aspect of veterinary medicine. Rose attended CUNY Laguardia where she graduated in 2010 with her AAS in Veterinary Technology.
Tatiana has been with Animal General since 2019. She earned her bachelor's degree at Mercy College in 2019 where she was also awarded The Robert Horan Award in Veterinary Technology for excellence in leadership. She was licensed that same year in the state of NY. Tatiana started her career at Animal General through her college’s externship program. We quickly saw her dedication, compassion, and commitment to the animals and clients and quickly hired her. In her spare time, Tatiana spends time with her many animals. 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 1 dog, several leopard geckos, a tortoise, and her many fish.
Hey, there I’m Liz! Originally from Upstate New York, I came to NYC to find my newest adventure! I attended SUNY Delhi and received my associate's in Veterinary Science technology in 2019. Since graduating college I love learning all I can, about animals big and small. I have a special love for exotic animals. In my free time, I love spending time with my pets and exploring nature. You can always find me with an iced coffee and a good book.
Megan has been with Animal General for almost 10 years! She quickly realized that taking care of animals was her niche, and couldn't be happier. She started at AG with answering the phones but soon got involved with all of the other departments. You can find her scheduling appointments, surgeries, answering emails, filling medications, ordering hospital supplies, or fixing any IT issue that arises. If you have a question, 99% of the time Megan will have an answer for you, but if not she won't stop until she does. An avid reader, writer, (and talker), her BA in English finally got put to good use running our social media department (Facebook and Instagram). 'It's not a job, when you love what you do!'Coming from Southern California, she really dislikes the rain and tolerates the snow; but nothing will get in her way when it comes to taking care of animals (inside and outside of the practice). Over the years, Megan has formed several special bonds with both clients and their pets, and to her, that is priceless.
Hi, I'm Jessica! Your friendly neighborhood veterinary technician in the making. I have loved and adored all animals ever since I was a child. Growing up with dogs, birds, and guinea pigs, It's no shock I wanted to become a nurse for our furry friends. I as well am a new cat mom and my baby is absolutely purrrfect. Currently, I am enrolled in a Veterinary Technician college program and will soon receive an associate's degree in applied science. I love being able to help the animal in need, as well as getting to know their families. When I come to work my goal is not only to take care of your pets with the utmost respect and diligence but as well show them the same type of love and patience they would receive at home.
